Greetings to all my Church Matters – Solutions connections. There was not much to report in Sept so I saved it all for this month’s update. I am still struggling with back issues but some slight improvements have been realized. I know some of you are dealing with similar problems and I pray that some relief will come your way soon.
What is new?
- I have been working on adding speaker notes to all the products that have been produced in PowerPoint presentations that lack them. This most likely will become a background effort throughout the next few months.
- The big news this month is the availability for selected reviews of a new product developed over the past several weeks. It is a visually oriented Small Catechism developed for youth and adults who learn more readily through visual means. It is a different concept than used by CPH last year for their “visual Small Catechism” in that it contains embedded links for more information and it uses history and religious artworks to illustrate a concept or theology as appropriate. It will be “Beta” tested over the coming months to finalize the presentation. The instructor will use a PowerPoint presentation and the students can use copies on laptops or the printed book for their lessons. If you have an interest in participating in the final testing process let me know by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Wishing all of you a blessed fall season and especially a great Reformation Sunday.
