Greetings to all and I trust you had a very wonderful Christmas with friends and family. We spent the day with our youngest son and family here in OR. Also wishing you a very Happy and Spirit filled New Year.
Other news As advertised via email and other postings, I am actively looking for co-contributors and/or someone to take over the management of the CMS Website. It seems age and medical issues are forcing a change in my life, as well as that of my dear wife, Deanna. To go with those changes is a commitment to start spending more personal time together rather than each of us having our own personal set of activities the bulk of the time. We also want to do some fun travel together while we still can rather than have commitments to meet and greet, promote CMS products, etc. That will be our new path in the coming year. Please contact me soon if you have any interest in being involved with the CMS Website in any way. I would really hate to see all of the useful material on the site disappear, which it will in about two years’ time if no one steps in.
We have purchased a home in a retirement community in Beaverton, OR, thus the pending move, putting our current home up for sale, etc., will be taking up a considerable amount of time. Consequently, I will not be posting much in the coming three months, but I will be resuming my normal activities in April.
On to what is new on the website for the month of Dec.
- A new tab has been created titled Creation Ministry that will feature postings from various authors dealing with the teaching of Creation Science with a Biblical perspective, including links to resources. It is worth noting that most churches have failed to teach their youth about actual Creation, one of two main reasons that youth begin to lose their faith in their grade school years. The other reason is our lack of teaching against evolution. In both cases we are not combating the influences of the public schools and by the time they get to high school or college the job is finished and they are gone to the dark side in these matters. Can we afford to do nothing in our churches to combat this corrosive influence on Christ’s church? The first three contributions have been posted at, http://churchmatterssolutions.org/creation-ministries/
- As promised, the presentation on Adiaphora has been completed and ordering information is posted at; http://churchmatterssolutions.org/bible-studies-on-the-books-of-the-bible/
Continued blessings in the new year, Gene White
